In early April 2014 Corinna was diagnosed with a brain tumour after a sudden onset of symptoms. Shortly after admission to hospital a crisis arose and an emergency operation was carried out which saved her life. Corinna made a good recovery but we learned that the tumour was spreading and even with radiotherapy the average life expectancy was a year. In hospital, as in subsequent months, Corinna, Chris and the boys received an enormous amount of help from family, friends and particular their church who rallied around with prayer and with practical support.
